Images of Tasmania

Every cloud has a silver lining.

Unable to work in clay for much of the year, I have experimented with paint and paper to create new work.  

Inspired by my rambling journeys around Tasmania, these mixed media collages are intensely personal depictions of times shared – in well-known spots, in out of the way places, up many dead ends, in all weathers - but always with wonderful travelling companions.

Found objects, metallic pens, acrylic paint, distressed papers, spray paint and ink create multi layered landscapes – my response to both the journey and the destination.

These are the small insignificant adventures that feed my soul.
