I have been a lifelong maker of things—I like the “thingness” of tangible objects and I use whatever suits my purpose to create and recreate them. Making art is central to who I am as a person, to the point that I could not imagine my life without it. I use wood, cloth, clay, metal, found objects and paint and wrangle these materials into the objects I see in my imagination.
My work for IMAGES 22 includes a number from a series of small mixed-media sculptural
pieces entitled “LOST CHILDREN” intended to be a bit thought-provoking.
