Images of Tasmania

I have painted in watercolour for a number of years and almost always en plein air which can be challenging. My subjects are often the East Coast beaches that I have known since childhood or the Tailrace on the Tamar River near my home, that changes with the tides and the seasons, but is always of interest to me.

I try to use a reasonably restricted palette and paint quickly to take advantage of the special qualities that watercolour has to offer.
