I like to work experimentally with a variety of media. These works demonstrate various collage techniques I have used over the years. "Reading Boots " 2008 include parts of letters written by my father to mother during W.W.11 from the Middle East. When I discovered the letters I was wearing these boots and spent hours reading through the letters. The work uses ink and wax in an encaustic technique. The other works use rice paper, and various media layered with acrylic paint and an adhesive media which makes the rice paper semi transparent . "Sacred #2" uses rubbings from grave stones in St David's Park the word sacred appears twice within the work.
