Body salts
Mythology tells us salt keeps away bad spirits.
In some religions it is used to purify an area, and in many
countries, it is revered as good luck.
The photos I’ve taken are the product of approximately three months spent, growing salt crystals on strings, in the studio. This was triggered by my desire to create images of the unseen.
Within no time, the crystals took on a life of their own, I only needed to check on them intermittently. They left me with a strange feeling, that they knew they had fulfilled my brief.
