Natasha Bradley

Inspired by the concept of hauntology, an art form indicative of another era but repeating itself in the current. A human sized tower of glass and light resembling ice reflects a moment in time, a childhood spent with my mother in the early eighties. Stylistically informed by architectural materials and concepts of post modernism. The glass bricks and eclectic tints give a nod to the early eighties and an era on the verge of futurism and computer technology. Similarly, surface textures and feelings of light and ice embrace the new wave electronic sounds of the same era.
