Appreciating and being active in the Creative Arts seems increasingly crucial in these weird times, as is being with like minded people in great conversations about the diverse ways artists find to express and problem-solve. Balancing idea and aesthetic while finding ways to explore the nature of time, memory and thought is my preoccupation. Currently intrigued with the quietly expressed references popping up in the zeitgeist about how to make or ‘see’ art that’s experienced emotionally or sensuously rather than cerebrally, I’m encouraging people to spend much more time in intensive looking to develop sensitive, insightful viewing.
