Susan Lacey

My work is always about making something with my hands, and the relaxation and pleasure that brings me. It's about wellbeing through process, and whilst I want to enjoy the result my main objective is to be experimenting and creating work. The stories behind my works are often not happy ones, but the making of the works provides a reliable oasis to which I can retreat and rejuvenate.
