My life includes emphasis on the geology of place, history and social (in)justice. I recently completed my B.A. (Fine Arts) which included using my Doctorate in Social Work to translate the operations of power into the practice of art.
I make art to celebrate how distinct primal forces shape the Tasmanian landscape and culture, and to move beyond the trauma of ongoing colonial and environmental narratives. This is an invitation to myself and the audience to create a pathway beyond invisible / dominant narratives towards an alternative collective expression for our island home.
